Fashion | How To Style A Vintage Blazer

Jacket - BHS (Vintage) | Roll Neck - Charity Shop | Belt - Primark | Flares - New Look | Lace-up Heels - F&F

What did I tell you...the seventies trend was soon to slowly creep onto Fashionistachic14 wasn't it...and you know what...I am LOVING it! From flares to fringing, to crochet bralets to bohemian prints! I want the lot! I have been dying to put my latest personally styled outfits up (Oh, yes there are more to come!), including a bit of double denim and floppy hat wearing. I've always admired the seventies fashion - even if some of it didn't always look quite that normal, but hey, I love it either way!
Flares are something I'm needing more of...especially in dungaree form! Since I seen a crushed velvet pair on Tiger Lily I seriously want some! Flares overall are so figure hugging and flattering but seriously comfortable! Can these jeans get any more fabulous?! Teaming them with my lace up shoes - even though you can't exactly see them, made the jeans bell-shape fall even better. If I paired them with my platformed boots then they would just scrunch up my legs - yes, I tried it out before hand...

Look at this faux suede jacket though! It's gorgeously tailored and not only perfect for casual wear but also for office wear - 2-in-1 right here! As soon as I seen it hanging up on the rail of a vintage shop, I tried it on and looked in the mirror, I fell in love with this beautiful piece! A bonus that it's vintage as most probably no one else will have it!

Going for a slight hint of cowgirl in this outfit as you can see by the belt - even though you can't see the style printed into it, it has a cowgirl vibe about it which I love! Expect to see some co girl inspired outfits also on Fashionistachic14 very soon...

I've also got some news for you guys...I've written a column about how to style some of the latest 70's trends. If you would like to check it out click here!
