Esquires Coffee

"Santa Claus is coming to town!" Sorry guys, that's all I've got singing in my head as I'm looking at these photos from Esquires Coffee Coventry! Christmas is coming whether we like it or not! And I tell you what, now that December is getting closer and closer, I'm starting to get excited as Christmas is only a month away! I've almost finished the Christmas present shopping - shock...I always get them early to miss the mad rush in December! What I also love about the festive season is, all the foodie places bring out all the festive recipes and new tasties to try out! So let's see what Esquires Coffee had hiding away!

Esquires Coffee Coventry is based on the side of the Transport Museum in the centre of Coventry. I'm not a fan of coffee except I adore the smell of it which is rather strange, so when they released a Snowball Hot Chocolate as part of their festive range, I had to try it! With melt in your mouth whipped cream and chocolate flakes on top, complemented by a wafer roll, the hot chocolate wasn't your usual milk chocolate, it was a white hot chocolate mixed with smores and almond syrup! This was such a refreshing change to your usual hot chocolate. Priced at under £4 was such a lovely treat after coming in from a cold walk round the city centre.

The girls who I went with from the Coventry Bloggers tried the other tasty treats from the drinks menu that included the Gingerbread Latte which smelled quite nice and was topped with a lovely bit of coffee art by the lovely talented staff in Esquires. They even had a snowflake stencil which added to the festive vibes! They also had a Golden Flat White with gold sprinkles on top - definitely one for the ones who like to be extra with your coffee!

Of course, there are some delicious treats in store to try out as well in Esquires Coffee Coventry which included a delicious Gluten Free Sticky Toffee Cheesecake which I of course tried seeing as this is one of my favourite puddings which I haven't had in ages! I devoured it that's for sure! The other girls had mince pies, mocha muffin - speaks for itself, chocolate and orange muffin which was like a chocolate orange of course! There was also your classic gingerbread man of course alongside a lovely jam filled biscuit as well. There was also a savoury snack which was filled with turkey and bacon - suited to those who have a more savoury tooth rather than a sweet one! Catering for both parties is always good!

If you have a Esquires near you or are from the Coventry area, why not pop in grab yourself a warm drink after being out in the winter weather! They have a lovely seating area which is comfortable and welcoming. It was a lovely place for myself and the girls from Coventry Bloggers to sit and enjoy a cuppa and a chat!
