A few weeks ago I was kindly invited to Suzie Gee's MUA Skin Masterclass, organised by my best blogging gal Saffron Baker from PixieBowUK. I'd never been to a masterclass before until this one and it honestly opened up my eyes to learning new things about make up and the tips, tricks and methods you can try out and play with within make up! I become so motivated and re-inspired again from attending this make up class which I honestly needed! So lets see what happened during the class...
The first make up look was a bridal look, and as you can see, how beautiful the look Suzie Gee has created on her stunning model Sophie! Using a glittery eye with a red lip followed by some insane body glow! Even I would wear this make up look! It's so stunning! Suzie used the MAC strobe cream on the models shoulders and chest area, and OMG I never knew how much I needed this in my life before! What a glow it gives! Suzie also has inspired me to play around with make up brushes more often, as I honestly always go towards my beauty blenders every single day! The make up I put on today whilst typing this, I managed to do a whole make up look with just brushes and it looks so much more flawless rather than a beauty blender! As I have noticed beauty blenders can make my make up more cakey and sucks more product in rather than put it on my face. Not ideal, especially when trying to clean them! But this make up look is so natural but glam at the same time. STUNNING!
The second look was more a night time glam look, and this is certainly something I am going to try out! As I haven't worn purple eyeshadow in years! She used the purple Huda Beauty palette (don't know the exact name but there were 9 shades in the palette), and I now need that in my life as well with the stunning colours! The look gave off quite a galactic glam look which is stunning! Before Suzie started the make up on Chantelle (her beautiful model), she prepped the skin by cleansing with micellar water (Garnier - THE BEST), and also moisturised in a very different way and mentioned about basically massaging the cream into the skin and along the jaw line as this helps fat tissue from what I remember and the way she did it has made me moisturise differently now!
The goodie bag was lovely and included some products I've already been playing around with! Especially the Runway Rogue Lip Gloss I now adore! It's such a lovely pink shade and is perfect for spring summer to give that subtle shine to the lips!
Suzie Gee has worked not only on brides but also celebrities too. She'll make you want to get creative with your make up bag again. Also keep an eye out for when she does her next Skin Masterclass as you will honestly pick up so many different tips and tricks from this make up guru.
