It's the most wonderful time of the year! If you didn't just sing that, are you really in the Christmassy mood? And this time of year is the perfect time for a pantomime! Belgrade Theatre in Coventry always put on the best show each year. Last year myself and Adam saw Sleeping Beauty and that was brilliant, but this year it's Puss In Boots and this was even better! The show starred the usual favourites, Craig Hollingsworth as Simon Pudding, Iain Lauchlan who is not only playing the part of Dame Matilda Pudding but is also the writer and director of the show! Joanna Thorne is the brilliant actress who plays as Puss In Boots, the costume for Puss In Boots was actually brilliant! So let's jump right into this magical review of Puss In Boots & see how it went...
Let's start with the display of the show...INCREDIBLE! It made the show so much more extra and beautiful, not to mention give it such a magical theme to it as expected. If you're a parent reading this and tempted to buy tickets to see this show, definitely book up ASAP! As tickets are selling faster than hot cakes, so get them quick before they completely sell out.
The costumes, as per usual were brilliantly made, especially Matilda Puddings outfits, always absolutely brilliant & certainly make you laugh. The show is full of humour, not just for kids these panto's but also for adults with the jokes they come out with.
Let's just talk about the dance routine's as well, they were so upbeat and got the audience involved as well. #BaggyB you'll find out what that means once you see the show & get yourself involved! Of course the storyline is absolutely brilliant, but of course I'm not going to spill too much as you must go to see it to watch this extremely entertaining show, best I've seen all year! But I do love a pantomime me!
Of course, there's a surprise in every show at the Belgrade Theatre, where the audience really gets involved. But you'll have to wait and find out to see what that is! Certainly book up your tickets fast so that you don't miss out on this brilliant show!
