Taking you back to 1977 where the UK was going through a tough time with homelessness, The Ruff Puff Cream Puff Estate Agency was there to help where they could. This fantastic musical was filled with humour, sarcastic jokes and full of incredible talent. The actors and actresses were brilliant, the fact they could all play different instruments I was amazed by. I could just about play the piano when I was younger, but these people could sing, dance, play guitar, the saxophone and more, it was so entertaining!
The way the whole set was laid out was pretty good with the live band, mini office, kitchen and bed set up was brilliantly thought and was quite realistic to what homelessness would be like. There were a few scenes that were rather amusing and the audience found hilarious. Another part to the musical that surprised me was the extras that were sat in the stands. Myself and my friend Katie who came along with me, thought that they were just normal people coming to see the show the same as us, but in fact they were part of the show as well as the singers and acted in part of the performance. One of my favourite characters was Lou, the actress who played her was brilliant.
Overall, the show was full of humour, the scene was set perfectly and I really enjoyed the show. If you are local to Coventry and love a good musical, tickets start from £10 at the Belgrade Theatre and The Ruff Tuff Cream Puff Estate Agency Musical will be playing from Sat 9th October - Sat 16th October at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. Such a fabulous night out for musical lovers or just a different night out instead of a night on the sofa. I would definitely recommend this show and would love to know if you are going to go and watch it or seen something similar.
