Travel | Where I'd Like To Travel To Next

Isobel Celine

Travelling is one of my favourite things to do, who doesn’t love to travel & explore the world? Last year I had a tattoo of a plane on my wrist as one it looked cute & two to remind me to travel more, but the main reason for the meaning of my little plane, is that travelling gives me a sense of freedom. Nothing better than getting on a plane and jetting off to somewhere new.

I’m currently sat on the plane to Tenerife as I’m writing this, I seem to be able to write my blog posts with more ease when travelling, I should be a travel blogger shouldn’t I really? As that’s where I’m way more creative and have a better mindset.

As for my travel plans, of course I want to travel as much as possible around the globe, but for the meantime, we’ll talk about the next 6 months to a year of travel plans.

Paris

Ideally I’d love to go to Paris for a little city break. Visit the city of love with my man, do the classic lock on the bridge, see the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, see the Mona Lisa etc & eat all the vegan croissants. I’ve already been to Disneyland Paris twice in the last few years and plan to go again for a girls trip again soon. Ideally I’d like to go in 2022 maybe in October for a little city break to Paris.

Disneyland Paris

Like I said I’ve been there before, but when you’ve been and understand how much of an entirely different world Disneyland is, you never get bored of it. The plan is to go again in Spring 2023 on the coach with the girls. I bet your thinking a coach are you mad?! Honestly it’s such fun going on the coach as you see way more, get to go on the ferry, stop at the French service stations & we have such a laugh on the 9 hour journey there. We usually chat away or play this funny game called Heads Up on our phones which is such a laugh and keeps you occupied for hours. Hopefully all goes to plan and we can all go next year.

Amsterdam

I’ve been wanting to go to Amsterdam for honestly years and not yet been. I’m dying to try out all the good food, visit the Anne Frank museum, the lovely canals, ride a bike around the centre & many more sights. A little city break would be fab there either in 2022 or 2023.

Rome

We tried to go to Rome back in March this year but the day we wanted to go the airlines changed the flights so we decided to go to Benidorm instead which was fun for a weekend. Can’t say it caters for vegans much in Benidorm but it was still a lovely little break. As for Rome, I would eat my body weight in all the pizza & pasta if my IBS allowed me to. Visit the tower of Pisa, the coliseum and any other typical spots in Rome. A little city break would be perfect there next summer in 2023 maybe.

Ski Trip

We are planning to go skiing in February 2023 with my cousin which we are so looking forward to booking. I’ve never been skiing before and neither has my partner Adam. We definitely need to learn to ski before hand & get all the ski gear - with no idea. We plan to go for around 4 days as we are sure that will be more than enough time to ski down the slopes. Definitely will be a once in a lifetime trip as it’s not often I hear people doing it, as it can be such an expensive trip with all the ski passes, ski gear, flights etc.

Australia

I know this is a HUGE trip that we’d like to plan for hopefully October 2023 to go and see Adams family. Ideally I’d love to stop off at Dubai for a few days but going there is EXPENSIVE…But either way we’d love to go to Australia to visit Sydney for all your classics, Sydney opera house, bondi beach, the shopping malls & to Adelaide to visit family. It’s going to be a pricey one if we do decide to do it with a lot of planning involved.

I’m pretty sure that’s a wrap on all the places I would ideally love to travel to in the next year or so for the time being. I’m not saying we’ll be able to do them all but I’d like to use our time more to travel, as I only work half of the year with my job so I have a lot of time to travel. So utilising our days off better would benefit more travel time.
