Well…where do I even start?! If you loved the film of The Full Monty, you’ll want to see the real life version. Featuring Jake Quickenden from the X factor alongside some brilliant actors throughout the show. A heart stopping, jaw dropping & making you leave with a six pack from the amount of laughter type of show. Dive right in to a show full of eventfulness.
Firstly, I have to talk about the CONFIDENCE of the actors who ‘got their kit off’ for the show. The absolute dedication was unmatched, and I had no words - literally when everything came off, and I mean everything. This show certainly isn’t PG! Definitely one to watch for a girls night out though.
I took my partner Adam along and we found the show witty, full of British humour, sexual innuendos and not many clothes. Certainly not a show for the faint hearted! An absolute delight to see and experience The Full Monty irl (in real life) - as surprisingly I’m yet to see the film.
The set for the show was fascinating, with how many ways it was interchangeable and an all in one. So brilliant how these shows are designed and put together. From the set to props to the attire was spot on and I could appreciate the hard work and amount of effort put into the whole performance.
Overall, all I can say is, this show makes your jaw drop with the amount of scandalous-ness, clothes being thrown about & mentions of social issues that really made you think. The Full Monty is a brilliant show to see and you definitely should organise a girls night out to see it.
