The musical that couldn't have been planned at a better time. With an ode to the incredible Dolly Parton, this musical will have you laughing until you cry & reminisce over all the amazing work the late Dolly achieved in her life. You'll be singing along to all those famous songs we won't ever forget from 9 To 5 to Backwoods Barbie. This musical couldn't have been more well put together. Let's get down to the office & get this thing started shall we?

Inspired by the incredibly well-loved film 9 to 5 The Musical, this performance will have you feeling every emotion & filled with hilarious moments that will leave your face aching from laughing so hard. It showcases a story of friendship, having the courage to stand up for what's right & being an independent woman.

The casting of this musical couldn't have been better. The insane talent all round was phenomenal. Karla Tracey, who played Doralee, couldn't have filled the shoes of this special character better. With her Western country-girl voice & fantastic acting skills, she was born to play this role.

Next to the absolutely remarkable Jade Marvin as Violet & Kayla Carter as Judy, these ladies have a hell of a pair of lungs! You'll be feeling those goosebumps throughout their solo performances, with just how exceptional their voices are. Together, the three actresses create such a brilliant dynamic on stage & their chemistry is one of the things that makes this production so enjoyable to watch.

There is something particularly special about watching a musical so heavily inspired by the work of Dolly Parton. Her music has become such an iconic part of our lives & hearing these songs performed live brings a completely different energy to them.

From the moment the music begins, you can't help but get that feeling of nostalgia. The soundtrack is full of those instantly recognisable Dolly moments, while the cast bring their own energy & personality to every number.

The music perfectly complements the story, taking you from hilarious office antics to more powerful & emotional moments without ever losing that feel-good Dolly charm.

Behind all the laughter & larger than life characters, there's a few key messages to take away from this musical. Three different women have had enough of being overlooked, underestimated & treated unfairly in a very masculine workplace. They come together to stand up for what's right, create an unbreakable friendship & showcase how incredible women truly are. That's what makes 9 to 5 so enjoyable. You're laughing along with the characters, singing along to the music & enjoying all the chaos, but underneath it all is a story about independence, equality, friendship & knowing your worth.
