Travel | A Weekend In London - London Fashion Weekend

London Fashion Weekend

I headed down to London for the weekend at the end of February to attend London Fashion Weekend. As it was my first time down in London as well as my first time attending the show, it was a whole new experience for me. I travelled down with one of my friends who knows London well and showed me all different parts to London. From Oxford Street to Buckingham Palace and Saatchi Gallery to Covent Garden. I truly had a weekend to remember.

Moving onto the show, we were surrounded by stalls full of designer boutiques full of unique pieces made by some awesome designers. This photo taken at the Vintage Fur Company was one of my favourite stalls. I fell in love with the Floral Fur Trim Sleeved Kimono they had on the rail. I was so tempted to by it, but considering the other things I bought, I had to think of my bank balance due to wanting to save for travelling this year. The kimono I tried on, I couldn't find on the website due to them not having many left as they mentioned on their Instagram. I will definitely be thinking about buying a couple of their beautiful pieces in the future - maybe for AW16.

I couldn't help but treat myself to a few hair products from Toni&Guy. I'll be doing a little London Fashion Weekend Haul where you can see everything that I bought at the show.

After the show we did a little bit of shopping down the little area by Saatchi Gallery and popped into Liz Earle, where I finally picked up the whole face cleansing pack in a deal they had going on.

As we were in London and we didn't want to waste a minute while we were down there, we decided to go site seeing and stopped by Buckingham Palace for a few quick selfies. I don't even know why, but we were so hyped to be there. We've already planned a weekend to head down to London for a weekend full of site seeing, which I'm super excited for.

Self Portrait - Harrods

When in London, you head in to Harrods obviously and get lost in all the designer gear and luxury food heaven. This Self-Portrait dress especially caught my eye!

Gourmet Burger Kitchen

Gourmet Burger Kitchen was our favourite place to eat while we were down there. We stayed in Earls Court and luckily this was literally round the corner from our hotel, perfect! The food was delicious, the place was clean and tidy, the menu was a wide variety and the skinny fries were extremely skinny! The only thing about the place was it was a bit cramped and small, not much elbow room basically. That is the only thing I would change about the place. Looking at this picture is making me crave being back there again!
