Bargains. Let's talk about the best places to shop for them, how to find them & all the tips you need to find that perfect bargain piece!
Tip No.1
SALE ALERT!
When I enter a shop, no matter what shop it is, I always head for the sale area first, because no matter what time of year it is, they always have a sale, you know why? Because if you find a piece you like in the normal priced area first, you may find the same piece or a similar one already in the sale department. So I always start off in the sale area first to nab a bargain before I move up towards the normal priced areas of the shop. The same goes for when I'm shopping online!
Lilac and white have been creeping back into my spring/summer wardrobe recently without me even noticing! I've been loving this lilac jumper that I purchased in the January sales from GAP. It's such a beautiful colour too! This jumper was originally £30, down to £16, then as I went into the store when they were having a discount day, I got an extra 20% off taking it to around £13! BONUS!
Tip No.2
Discounts
Whether this being online, or instore with a points card or even with a gift voucher you've been given or sent by the store for promotional reasons through you being a rewards card holder, every discount counts! I follow a fair few online stores through Instagram & Snapchat, as well as many bloggers who have discount codes for various different discounts, whether they're free/next day delivery, free item with every purchase or even a percentage off your entire order. Discounts can be awesome at times, especially when you've had your eye on an item that's been sat in your wish list for too long & a massive discount code has been given out to followers, I would god dam use it! It's there for a reason, so take advantage of the discount while it's there!
Tip No.3
Second Hand Doesn't Mean It's No Good
Charity shops, car boots, markets, eBay, Depop, anywhere that sells second hand things, they're GOLD MINES! I've made the most amazing purchases in charity shops & car boots! I've bought a real leather gilet worth £160 in a charity shop before for only £5! A real suede vintage camel jacket for only £6, worth a hell of a lot more, in a charity shop too! Even at car boots, I've picked up some really unusual but on trend pieces before for as cheap as 50p! Search places like these! You'll find pieces out there that no one else has, which is another thing I love about these places & getting them second hand, as no one else has them. Retro, vintage & unique pieces are the best to own! So don't be afraid to be seen in a charity shop or at a car boot, as people will change the way you think when your wearing the most amazing pieces & you would be able to tell them where it's from & they'd be envious because they wouldn't be able to own the same piece as you! Own it guys & girls!
Tip No.4
Research The Best Place To Buy Your Items For The Best Price
This includes online & instore, especially if it's a new trend piece that is in practically every shop. Shop around first & see what shop offers the best price & for the quality you want. Say your looking for the latest summer trend of Bardot off the shoulder tops, literally every fashion shop will have at least one design in & every fashion shop will have them at different prices. Just be aware of what shop offers the best type of quality you're looking for at the best price. You do pay for what you get, usually the more you pay, the better quality the item, but that's not always the way, it's how you look after the item & how much wear you're actually going to get out of it. So think quality over quantity as well while your shopping, this also helps to save money & not wasting it on quick trends that happen all the time in the fashion industry.
Tip No.5
Anchor Pricing
Ever heard of this before, no? Well let me explain. Have you ever looked at the price tags in TKMaxx? They have the RRP price showing as well as their new price to show you how much the item is worth, which you can then figure out how much money your saving. You then know how much of a discount that has already been knocked off, but don't stop there, they always reduce the items further along the line if you wait until the sale season, unless you are dying to get that special piece there and then, then buy it if you don't mind not saving those extra few pounds as it's already at quite a big discount, then that's your decision, but waiting until the sale is not always a bad idea because, have you ever bought an on trend piece as soon as it comes out, then a few weeks later you see the price has dropped massively, and you just feel that bit guilty for falling for the new in pieces way too soon? Yep. I've done that, but it's a rare occasion that it's happened.

DeleteI usually shop for my bargains by signing up for my favorite brand's newsletters, so that every time they have great discounts I am notified about it. This way I get to snatch up all the clothes I really almost bought at full price!

That's also something else I do! But comepletely forgot to mention that! But it does get annoying with all the junk mail we get through with promotional things from online shops sometimes.
