Chocolate...Who doesn't love a bit of sweetness every now and again! Fargo Village are know in Coventry for their brilliant unique independent business events that are full so many hidden treasures! There's so many events on there lately, especially Christmas ones, that I had to go down there to see what it was all about! And the sound of a Winter Chocolate Festival I was definitely up for, even if I was drooling at the mouth as to the site of all the goodness, from cakes to chocolate, brownies filled with Turkish delight to macaroons! There were so many stall to buy from local businesses that sold such gorgeous smelling, and tasting of course, food that would certainly satisfy your sweet tooth!
What drawn my eye the most were the stalls with fudge, as fudge is something I don't find very often as I absolutely adore it and normally only buy fudge at the seaside! And they had my favourite clotted cream fudge that I bought a little square of for £2.50, best £2.50 bit of heaven I've spent! I wish I bought some macaroons to try out too, but I was trying to save myself for the ones in Bubble Boba which is my favourite place for a Banana & Salted Caramel Milkshake. I love the place that much I own a loyalty card!
There was so much choice, I tried to resist! These giant liquorice laces I had to try and not let myself have as these are one of my weaknesses! I'm trying to eat healthy can you tell? Yet I go to a chocolate festival, I really help myself don't I? Well, who says you can't have a treat every now and again! Strawberry and Apple laces are some of my favourite sweet treats! Especially the giant ones as they last longer!
Fargo is honestly such a lovely place to go in Coventry and nearly every weekend they have events one, from local makers markets with cute crafts, a motor show in the summer, Christmas maker markets and honestly so much more! Even the Backhaus & Co. Hold a comedy night on a Tuesday every few weeks which I've been to that's also rather amusing and a different way to spend your weekday evenings - read about the evening I spent there here! Book a day where you can check this place out, as you won't be disappointed with what's on offer for you! Read all about what other things you can find there in my blog post about Fargo Village here or click for there website below.
