Lifestyle | My Goals For 2019

poppies

Happy New Year everyone! 2019 is here, everyone is probably heading towards the gym or making new years resolutions, this year I am switching it up, as last years goals I set didn't all go to plan, but so much more came out of 2018 than I expected, so let's see what was achieved...

My 2018 goals were rather achievable if I really put my mind to it. But some I just didn't achieve so much.

  • Pass my theory test and practical driving test - YES! Smashed it out the park and achieved both of these as well as getting my first car!
  • Save Money - the first year I've managed to actually save money and be a little bit harder on myself and not waste money on things I didn't need.
  • Travel - I said I wanted to go to Santorini, Portugal and Ireland, but I ended up going to Costa Brava, Barcelona and Krakow, Poland instead - best holidays these wear with Adam! We explored so much during our time in these destinations too!
  • Eat Healthier - definitely did not happen...
  • Home exercises - I was quite good at this for the first few months of 2018 and just ended up not bothering - not good!
  • Read more books - I probably read about one book during 2018...So this is something I need to do more of! As the amount of books I have and want to get through as well!
  • Film More Videos - this was and wasn't achieved as I mainly vlogged again, but I am determined to film some new videos, like make up tutorials, chatty videos etc. for 2019!
  • Live life how I want to and not let anyone get in the way pf my own happiness - there were a lot of changes for the better during 2018 that occurred for this exact reason.
Let's see what goals I have set for 2019!

  • Save for a house - I cannot wait for the day I live in my own house, dreaming of a dressing room that's for sure!
  • Travel to 3 different destinations - Amsterdam, maybe Italy, maybe Tenerife or even a nice UK break away.
  • Read one book a month - I have probably only read one whole book all year...I haven't even read all of the blogosphere magazines that have come out this year since June! So I definitely need to work on this one.
  • Be more spontaneous - I really enjoy spontaneous days out, or just doing new things, as being spontaneous is more fun than planning things sometimes, as I stress too much if things don't go to plan.
  • Organise blogging & YouTube - I've got a few things planned for YouTube and blogging, but over the Christmas break, I just let it all go as I just wanted time away from technology and to be with my loved ones and just enjoy myself, and my gosh was it such a nice break, as much as I love blogging and YouTube, it's so lovely to have a break and be in reality as we all fall into the non realistic life on instagram and miss the important things in life, so as much as I want to be more organised, I want to be more away from my technology.
  • Make time for the things that matter most - this definitely goes hand in hand with not being on my phone and on technology so much, as we don't realise how much we miss things in life when stuck staring at a screen for hours!
  • Go to the dentist - a weird one but I want to really look after my teeth more and get them whitened, hopefully I get round to doing this, as we all know not everyone loves the dentist...
  • Join the gym - this is something me and Adam are doing together so we motivate each other and we just want to do more exercise and get fit again. As I get exhausted just walking up a hill and I'm always so tired, so I want to regain my energy, and get that me feeling back and feeling motivated again!
That's it for my 2019 goals! What have you got in line for 2019?

Thank you to you all for supporting my blog whether your new or a long term reader throughout 2018!

  1. Good luck on all of your goals! I highly recommend Amsterdam although I would say that it was really expensive... Perhaps the most expensive holiday I've been on so I'd definitely save up for it! We spent so much there on food but it was worth it.

One of my goals for 2019 is to do far more stuff with my blog, as well as join the gym, which both me and my boyfriend are doing together. :D

    I can't believe we're already a week into 2019!
