For months I've been struggling with my eyelashes. Constantly falling out, extremely noticeable gaps, dryness and just completely crap in all honesty is how I felt about my eyelashes for a while. I tried different mascaras of different makes and I realise I just wasn't taking care of them enough. See, we moisturiser our skin, and conditioner our hair, so why don't we do things for our eyelashes, so when I was sent this NYK1 Eyelash Serum, that I was gifted and had no obligation to post, I really wanted to put it to the test and see if this actually worked for me. So let's see how I got on...

| 4 weeks of using the eyelash serum day and night
As you can see by my before and after photos here, I tried to keep them as similar as I could, but you'll see below how much it's really improved my eyelashes thickness, growth and helped all the areas where I had gaps. I also went through a stage of picking my eyelashes as they were irritating me, and there was countless days where I'd picked off all the mascara on the one eye and looked really odd. So not only was I picking at them, they were extremely dry and just weren't growing how I needed them too. I've always had nice thick eyelashes but I picked them so bad they weren't the same anymore. Which is where this serum has honestly helped SO MUCH to the point I'll not go to bed or get up without using this eyelash serum again. I can't go a day without it and it goes honestly everywhere with me if I go away for the weekend like I did to see my grandparents or to even stay at a friends house, I could not leave it at home as it's now a necessity as much as it is to take my toothbrush.

I didn't want to take really professional photos for this, as I wanted unedited selfies that showed the realness of how this product actually worked for me. As you can see, they are so much fuller and thicker with no gaps at all! They've grown to a lovely natural length again and it's made me feel more confident not wearing mascara or make up. Just to clarify, I have no mascara on in the before and after photos, apart from the photos holding the serum. I do have to be honest, when I first used the serum I put it on my actual lashes and not the lash line, typical me, until I realised you have to line it along the lash line for it to soak up all the goodness from the product.

So this explains why I wanted to share my eyelash growth story with you as I've struggled growing them for months and I've finally found something that works! As mentioned before, I was gifted this product, but had no obligation to create a blog post, and I liked it that much I just had to share it with you all, so why not?
