Theatre | A Midsummer Night's Dream - Belgrade Theatre

A Midsummer Nights Dream

Are you a fan of Shakespeare? If I'm honest, I've never seen a Shakespeare play. But when I had the opportunity to see A Midsummer Night's Dream, I thought I'd see what it was about. Not everyone is a fan of old English, but I was rather intrigued when the actors and actresses within this show could remember all their lines so well! The show itself was filled with humour, brilliant acting skills and full of fun. Not something you would of expected to be honest!

Of course I can't give too much away due to the fact you must go and see this yourself! It's such a different evening out at the Theatre, especially if you are near to the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. I went along with my partner Adam and, especially me, thoroughly enjoyed the laughter filled evening. There's something different about going to the Theatre in the week and spending the evening watching such brilliant fun! It's definitely better than an evening sat in watching the TV! The Theatre gets you out and gets you more engaged with what the show is all about, sometimes they even invite the audience to join in with the show on stage.

Overall, the stage set up, actors & actresses, stage costumes, music, humour and basically the entire show, I just couldn't fault and was in stitches with laughter the whole evening! It was a brilliant blend of Shakespearean narrative with brilliant comedy, accompanied by a great choice of music which every song they sang we pretty much all should know!  I would definitely recommend you go and see this whether your a fan of Shakespeare or not, it's certainly one to watch.

A Midsummer Night's Dream is on at Belgrade Theatre Coventry until Thursday 20th June, so make sure you go and see it or you'll miss out. Buy your tickets here.
