Beauty & The Beast Panto Review - Belgrade Theatre

What a brilliant performance...oh yes it was! After 2 years of not being able to see the pantomime at the Belgrade Theatre we are finally back & able to watch the brilliant show directed & written by Iain Lauchlan who, every year creates a brilliant pantomime for all the family. This show isn't just for kids, but also for adults with the hilarious sense of humour this show holds throughout. Let's dive right in shall we?

I have to say I was so looking forward to this pantomime as I just knew it would be absolutely brilliant and make me laugh so much. It was so entertaining & the audience was filled with all ages from children to elderly, so it just shows that it's for all ages. I just can't get over how funny the whole show was, the cast were brilliant, the costumes were fabulous, especially Beauty's ball gown. I have to say the choreography was also fabulous and the backing dancers did a fantastic job & all looked lovely.

The storyline was brilliant & they added their usual touches of getting the soapy soapy song out & making a mess of the place - I won't spoilt it for you, but as soon as you see the change of outfits into a more shiny material, you know that scene is coming, as well as the usual, yet hilarious 'If I were not in pantomime...' song which honestly will make you leave with a six pack after laughing so hard at this scene. Also look out for the absolutely incredible costumes Dame Dolly Mixture comes out with throughout the entire show - you will honestly LOVE them all!

Overall, I don't want to tell you too much and spoilt the show for you, as it's just a fantastic show and a must see for the Christmas season. The show is also on until Saturday 8th January, so there's plenty of dates to chose from, but I'd be quick in buying tickets if I were you, as I can see this show selling tickets out pretty quickly with how popular it is every year, and even more so now we haven't had one for 2 years! Click here to get your hands on tickets to this years show Beauty & The Beast at the Belgrade Theatre. Tickets start from £13.50. Thanks to the Belgrade Theatre for inviting me down to review the show & enjoying a fantastic evening out.
