Let's do the time warp again...how did I not know that this absolute classic of a song "The Time Warp" came from The Rocky Horror Show?! I had the absolute pleasure of seeing the cult sensation live at the Belgrade Theatre & it did not disappoint. My very first time experiencing the show, as I've not seen the film before either, believe it or not. Let me take you through this wild and wonderful show, without giving too much away...

Think sexy, outrageous & unapologetically full of innuendo. Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show is packed with powerhouse vocals, daring costumes & brilliantly designed set that immediately transports you into its eccentric world. I barely knew where to look, there was so much happening at once. One moment I was left speechless (quite a few times actually), the next I was laughing so hard my face hurt.
The cast were nothing short of phenomenal. The actor playing Dr. Frank-N-Furt (Stephen Webb) was born for this role, commanding the stage with every strut & smirk. The Narrator too, deserves a special mention (Nathan Caton), his razor-sharp wit and hilarious back and forth with the audience made him an instant favourite of mine.

Let's not forget there's the set and costumes. The level of detail was jaw dropping, with a perfectly Transylvanian vibe running through the design. Add in the outrageous outfits and the visual spectacle alone was worth the ticket.
Whether it's your first time or your fiftieth, The Rocky Horror Show is a theatrical experience like no other. Seeing it at the Belgrade Theatre makes it all the more special. Performing between Monday 22nd September to Saturday 27th September 2025, and whatever you do, don't miss out on the Friday and Saturday after parties at the Nineteen 58 Bar. Expect feathers, bubbles and plenty of wild fun. Not one to be missed.
