Relaxing is not something I do often and rarely get time to do it as I'm always in focus mode. Whether it be at work, at home, with blogging, shopping, anything. I have different modes that I'll be in but I'll always be focused and not relaxed. So I'm going to talk about what's the most important in life to focus on and when to relax.
1. Quality time not quantity
Seeing your friends or family not very often isn't always a bad thing, you may always be busy, but if you put some time aside to spend time with them, quality time is always better as you appreciate it more. Always make the most of the time you have with your loved ones.
2. Get the work done before anything else
I'm one of those people that just can't relax until the work is done. I will not stop until my work is done, I'm such a workaholic. Sometimes I'll work too much but it'll be because I've got so many ideas that I need to get them out of my system before I forget it. Sometimes I need someone to tell me to stop working and chill out and do something else so my mind isn't always in work mode. My boyfriend is quite helpful with that as he let's me get my work done, but also knows when to step in and get me to stop for the day and relax.
3. Take a day off
This is something I wish I could do, but every time I get one, I just make more work for myself as I always like to feel like I've had a productive day, and if I haven't I don't feel so happy. But sometimes I think I just need a day to go out to my favourite place and escape working and social media, to just enjoy life for what it is and the beauty of the world.
4. Try yoga or a relaxing exercise
I've always been intrigued by what yoga has to offer. I used to love doing it on the Wii fit game, that's something I definitely should start up again as it was fun and productive as it's exercising! I just need to buy myself some new remotes first.
5. Make a list of things
Doing this actually makes me feel more relaxed as I don't have to worry about forgetting anything and so I can stay on track with everything to do with blogging, things I need to do or buy or even shoot for the blog. It all makes me feel that bit better.
