Lifestyle & Fashion | What Happened In February

60's Mod Style

So I thought about it and I want to make this a monthly thing for definite. So let's see what happened in February...

First of all, I started the gym and got into a routine of going 2-3 times a week, the odd time I went 4 times in a week - well done me! I joined a good fitness class as well as yoga class - one of the best classes I've done, you have to try it! I also found out I am really underweight and need to eat more, even though I eat so much every day! I even keep a food and exercise diary now so I can keep track each day, and I've figured out I eat more when I'm at work rather than when I'm at home. I also found out I have a metabolism of a 12 year old hahaa! I knew it was fast, but not that fast!

I caught up with some work friends and had such a good night with them! That was also the day I had my hair done to a shorter, baby blonde colour and style, and my gosh...I've never spent so much money on my hair! Plus it took 6 hours to do! See more about this in my Weekend Vlog on my Youtube - link at the bottom of this post.

I spent some lovely quality time with my family and boyfriend, especially country walks with my dog Pepsi, who I love so much. Catch a few shots of him in this blog post.

I took a Sunday trip down to London to meet up with some blogger friends who I met back at the TBHXBWB Bloggers Meet Up. We went for brunch in Notting Hill in a vegan restaurant called Farmacy. Myself and everyone else ordered the pancakes, which I had nutella with, they were beautifully presented, but I found vegan food is really not for me, especially coconut yogurt. I also ordered the Berry Punch drink, which I would definitely go back there for again if I was in the area! Just the drinks though, as the food just wasn't my cup of tea, but I loved how the place was set out!

February also (obviously) involved Valentine's Day, so I spent the day with my boyfriend, just us, spending time together and heading out to a cute little Indian restaurant, greeted by a delicious glass of wine and poppadoms with the lovely dips. We had a starter, I had chicken tikka pieces with salad and Reiss had Sheek kebab with salad. It was then followed by our main, I had chicken madras (AMAZING), with pilau rice, and shared a naan bread, while Reiss had chicken tikka pieces with salad and chips. At the end of our meal, they brought out a rose to give to Reiss to give to me! It topped off the entire day as I was so touched by this, as roses are my absolute favourite flowers!

My Valentine's Day gift to him was tickets to go see Jack Whitehall, a comedian we both love! It was honestly the most hilarious night, except the horrendous taxi journey back, as the driver almost crashed the taxi by driving whilst using his phone and just missed a bollard in the road! Horrific experience!

Also my laptop I was having trouble with, so my blogging wasn't as frequent as I had  hoped, so I had it formatted and it's working fine so far! I'm definitely going to save up for an iMac soon. Any recommendations or opinions on them would be great to hear! I also had some exciting collaborations with Swiss Clinic, Zaful and Boohoo in February!

As for this outfit, I've had this on repeat so often! It's been perfect for the cold days - especially in February. I love this 60's mod sort of style! I wear this roll neck so often! As you will see in a lot of my vlogs on my YouTube (link down below). As for this bag, I wear this SO much, it's so like a Gucci dupe bag with the strap. When it arrived I didn't think I'd fit much in it, but once I wore it a few times, the inside got some air in it and I can fit all my essentials in it! My boots are a favourite of mine and I wear them with nearly every outfit, out of all the boots I own, these are the ones I reach for the most recently!

I also took a trip out to Bicester Village with one of my best friends, as we've both wanted to go for ages! So we took a spontaneous trip down there, and the amount of things I wanted to buy but stopped myself as of saving money for the amount of trips and holidays I've got planned this year. I will go back either later in the year and/or next year and get that Micheal Kors Denim Bag! I also hope to get my hands on the Gucci belt at some point!
