My first premiere...And OMG was it one hell of an overwhelming experience. I was kindly invited to the Belgrade Theatre to witness the incredible premiere for Seaview. Which is a new TV series directed by the new Co-Artistic Director Corey Campbell. Starting from the very beginning of walking towards the Belgrade Theatre, the whole of the inside was lit up with purple lights, the red carpet was rolled out, photographers were all around and there was glammed up people everywhere inside. As soon as we walked in, I was so overwhelmed by the whole venue & setting. I was honestly not expecting a full on red carpet premiere in our own home town of Coventry. It was a super glam event, so I'm glad I came in a lovely NEXT black embroidered dress with rockstud kitten heels, Gucci belt & a long black faux fur trimmed coat. The place was absolutely booming with suited and booted actors and glamorously dressed ladies all around the venue. It was if I'd been transported to a London premiere it was such a wonderful experience.
Experiencing walking the red carpet was also rather overwhelming, I wasn't expecting to feel so overwhelmed by it all at this event but it was just so surreal that I was invited to this incredible event. Moving onto the actual series that we saw the first screening of, I of course brought my lovely man Adam along with me to see the series and to ask for his opinion on the show. I won't say too much as it would be brilliant for you guys to see it if you are local to Coventry. The show is screening from Thursday 11th November - Saturday 13th November 2021. So if you do get the chance, definitely jump to get tickets, as you will be HOOKED on this series.
The first 3 episodes were shown during the premiere & each episode was filled with action, suspense & tension. Especially at the end of each episode, it always left you on a cliff hanger to make you want to come back for more. Episode 3 also made my jaw drop as it was not what anyone was expecting to see from the series. There is 6 episodes in the whole series which they are currently still working on but I am so excited for them to be released. This show certainly should be released onto Netflix, as the cast, directors & creatives throughout this series have clearly worked SO hard to make this series work & be so addictive to watch.
