I cannot tell you how excited I was when the Jet2 team sent an email into my inbox. They kindly invited me to a day of learning how to snowboard at the snowdome in Tamworth & what an incredible day it was. Myself and my partner Adam are going skiing in 2023 & we had a day of learning how to ski a few weeks back for a day, which was such good fun. So when Jet2 said they wanted to take us snowboarding to celebrate Jet2Ski launching, you can imagine our excitement. We spent a good 3 hours learning how to snowboard & grasped it super well. Now we are torn between skiing and snowboarding when we go on our Ski Trip in the new year.
The fab thing about Jet2Ski is that, you can have the ease of either taking your own ski gear on the Jet2Ski flight with you or you can rent your own when you get to your destination. There’s always lots of different rental places around the ski resort you book. We plan on booking one day of snowboarding and one day of skiing if we can.
If you are new to ski holidays and not sure where to start with needing to learn how to ski or snow board, definitely book lessons either when you go or before at your nearest snow slope. There’s a few different places up and down the UK. Our nearest is the Snowdome in Tamworth & another place in Milton Keynes which I’ve been told has a bigger slope. We had a private session one to one with our instructor at the Snowdome and he guided us through one by one of how to snowboard & after an hour or two we cracked it and off we went. We (I mean me really) fell over quite a lot, but it was part of the fun & always picked ourselves up.
I cannot thank you Jet2 enough for inviting us for such a fabulous day of snowboarding & learning all about the new Jet2Ski flights. I hope that they decide to add package holidays along side their flights, as we always prefer to go on holiday with Jet2. They look after you & will help you in any situation & the teams all around the airport & abroad are always happy to help with a smile. The best airline I’ve ever flown with & can trust with everything. Highly recommend, and I’m not just saying that, we’ve chose to fly with jet2 for the past 4 years and love it.
