Paris, the city of love as it's known for. I spent 5 days in Paris for my birthday & visited so many places, alongside the typical tourist spots. I've put together a guide of the nicest things to do in Paris, alongside a 3 full day itinerary for you to go along with if you'd like. I've included the Emily In Paris popular filming locations also if this is for you & you've watched the show.
Eiffel Tower
Of course, the Eiffel Tower is at the top of everyone's list to visit in Paris. You can either choose to walk around the tower, go up halfway, or to the very top to see the view of all of Paris. The Eiffel Tower also has a restaurant you can eat at, I imagine would be lovely, but at a hefty price no doubt.
Arc De Triomphe
Another hot spot you have to visit, there's also a long street of designer & high street shops, so why not add this to your itinerary of your shopping day in Paris. Make sure to stop by LadureƩ for a delicious macaroon too.
Grand Palais
A free museum to add to your trip to enjoy, with lovely gardens & stunning architectural ceilings with incredible art work to awe over.
Louvre
Also stop by Le Cafe Marley next door to the Louvre for a beautiful view of the Louvre pyramid & the perfect spot to people watch & get those Instagram shots. Just be aware the price of anything in this cafe is rather pricey. We paid 9 euros for a coffee in there and it wasn't much good. It's more the location you are paying for than anything else, but I can't say anything on the food as we didn't have any, so just see what you make of it yourself if you do go, as everyone is different of course.
Les Colonnes De Buren
The place for all the insta photos with the striped Pilars/podiums. This is located right next to Jarden du Palais-Royal which is a lovely spot to sit in or wander round. Also it's an Emily in Paris filming location.
Notre Dame
Of course your typical tourist hot spot that's not to be missed during your trip with its magnificent architecture. Especially off the River Sienne where you can admire Parisian paintings & antique books you can also purchase.
Sacre-Coeur
Free to go into & also admire the incredible view of Paris from outside the Sacre-Coeur. Just be aware it's rather steep to go up to, so wear suitable footwear when you visit. There is also a cable car available if needed though. In the area of Montmartre, which you should also have a wonder round this lovely artistic area. Stop by the La Maison Rose too for its pretty pink walls, another Emily in Paris filming location.
La Galerie Dior
The Dior Gallery from what I've heard is a fashion designer fans dream. The home to the history & designs of Dior, this is worth a trip. Unfortunately, the tickets were all sold out by the time I went to book the gallery during our trip, so definitely book well in advance if you are wanting to visit.
